Downgrading ARod's SS defense rating for realism ? Realistically ARod is better than that. You could move any generic 3B to SS & he'd play better than a 1 rating. I can understand a penalty for playing out of position. In this instance, a team is penalized because he made two appearances at SS. I may test that next season by playing Aramis Ramirez at short with ARod at 3B.
