I agree. In the LONG TERM sound may make the game more exciting. But in the SHORT TERM I would rather see most of the attention focused on bugs that affect the outcome of the SIMULATION.
The defensive decisions made by the ROBOT are still a source of contention for me. I recently had a game in a traditional league where ALEX RODRIGUEZ got hurt and the ROBOT put LUIS ALICEA at shortstop. I was wishing the ROBOT would have been smart enough to move my third baseman, FERNANDO TATIS, who is rated at shorstop and then inserted one of my bench infielders at third base.
