First Base errors
I have always thought First Base errors are way too high in PB. I have Helton on 4 teams, and he always makes way too many errors. Never even close to his real numbers.
With Firstbasemen fielding .993-.999, that means only 1 error in 1000 chances. Most firstbasemen should have fielding rating of 9.3-9.9 for errors.
Either PB has to reduce the 1B opportunities for errors, or reduce their chances of making an error by increasing their fielding PCT rating to a higher level.
So far, I haven't seen any improvement in 1B fielding over the years.
