Thats not a bad idea and it might work, but I'd like to see changes made to keep managers from leaving. Many complaints I've seen on this board for a year or two go undressed. People are complaining about underachiving players. Lets start by doing away with the 15% rule. This will force us to use low grade pitchers and players. Also I've seen several guys saying do away with the duel pitching grade. I agree. I see no reason for this. The fielding ratings. Is it realistic that AROD would make one or two errors a game at SS, no. Do what they in in rotisserie leagues. He has to play 5 games at that position to be rated. Play the managerless games on Thursday, Friday or Saturday instead of Tuesday.
I've seen this complaint several times. I for one hate waiting for my games to be played.
Finally, the biggest problem in my opinion is trades. Rules must be stricker. Some guys have a knack for fleecing other teams and the same guys are in the playoffs every year. If a guy like Pulhos gets traded, make sure the other team gets someone like AROD back. No more prospects and picks for supertar players. Also no trading star players from managerless teams.
