AND THE WINNER IS..................
Mike Miele's Glen Ellyn Grizzlies in Williams-9 (W(9).
What did he win? The best overall record of any team in all the Traditional Leagues. Even though there are still ten games left there are only two other teams that could catch him but they are 10 and 9 games behind and so it seems impossible.
Mike's team has a 120-30 record (.800 win percentage) - 62-13 at home and 58-17 on the road. Interestingly enough the total PB value for his team for 2003 is a modest 114.528 - there are countless other teams in other leagues with much higher PB values (of course, some may have had to play better teams). One other note of interest: like so many other of us the 2004 PB value for his team is down a whopping 30.408 points. I wonder if this means that park effects are going to have a much more important impact this upcoming year or could it mean that there are some very high PB value free agents available? Or do we have another Barry Bonds factor here?
Congratulation to Mike. Now if you want to know what team in all the Trads had the worst record, you'll have to do that one your selves.
