I agree. Thats what I said in my post. Bonds only accounts for a 2-3% drop. Where does the other 22% drop come from. From what Brian just mentioned, Bonds should actually be higher, but he's not.
The home fields of players is one big factor that isn't being accounted for in the ratings. I know that they run a program that updates players PB ratings and such. This is done after all seasons are over and new home field ratings are available.
This doesn't mean we still can't plan ahead. Just use a new cap of 77-79. Take you top 27 players, make plans based off of this.
Sad to say next year won't require me to make too many cap cuts...... :)
