Are you submitting any offers or just waiting for somebody to come knocking?

A lot of people expect to receive a lot of offers when they advertise a player on the trade forum. Only stud youngsters get a lot of response. You need to put in the road work and try to find a manager to make a deal because they don't come running to you, especially when you're trying to sell an average player. Submit some offers that you think are fair. You might get some counter offers. It's also a way to see what other managers think what the guy is worth.

Posting a message and waiting for the offers to flow in just doesn't happen much. You need to make your own deals.
