On 4/5 a post was made asking for a trade opinion. He had just unloaded Pat Burrell, Jim Edmonds, Aaron Rowand, and Jimmy Gobble for Pedro and Percival.
One responder came back with, "With Burrell and Edmonds you have a shot to make the playoffs for several years coming. With Pedro and Percival you have a good shot to win the championship for several years." ( So far, so good. But in light of Pecivals hinky shoulder and Pedros growing ERA several years might be more than a few too many.)
