The same thing happened to me and it is not the first time it has happened. However it is especially unfair during the playoffs. Fortunately I scouted my opponent and saw that his only lefty was tired so when I saw the computer had chosen that lefty to start I entered the lineup I used against right handers. Fortunately I was correct but I resent having to guess which lineup I should use.

In fairness I don't think this was a ploy on the part of my opponent but a case of a neglected team. A few hours before games were due to begin my opponent had not set his 25 man roster. My guess is Mike had to do it for him.

SUGGESTED REMEDY: If Mike has to make roster changes for an unmanaged OR neglected team he should delete ALL saved lineups, ALL pitching roles, and set the manager templete to medium for ALL strategy categories. In doing so the computer will not be "tempted" to use an otherwise unavailable player due to old/outdated instructuions. Does this seem reasonable?
