Slogging Thru Playoffs
Coupled with some of the other frustrations that this game throws at you (like the posts on away lineups below) is the fact that the playoffs move at a glacier pace. Is it just me or are other managers out there pulling their hair out waiting for games to be played...it's like watching paint dry. It just seems like we have schedules that are constantly lagging...moving from the end of the regular season to one-game playoffs to the first-round of the playoffs, etc. Why all the time in between and constant delays. We should know our players and line-ups pretty well by now after 160 games. Here we are at 11pm EST on Tuesday night and some of the Games 1 and 2 have still to be played a full-week after the regular season ended. I can appreciate that a FEW players may have time constraints or other conflicting obligations but I really feel that MOST managers are ready at the drop of a hat to play. Why can't a deadline be reached and enforced? Why can't the robot play unmanaged games until the last possible deadline? It seems to take away momentum and only adds aggravation to those who are ready and willing to play. I'd rather have 1 or 2 managers have their games played for them by the robot instead of 20 managers sitting around twidling the fingers waiting for the next round. BTW, I have played since 1998 and I know that at times it works as it should but more often than not there are delays. Let's see some enforcement on time constraints and keep things moving!
