In my recollection the TRAD league playoffs have run on schedule (aside from a few hours here or there) for the last 5+ years.

The published schedules always list 2 days for the first 2 games, a 3rd day for setting lineups, 3 days for the next 3 games, a day for setting lineups, and 2 days for the next 2 games.

It has been standard practice for at least a couple years to give the home team the "lineup setting day" as an "extra day" to play the games. So in effect you get 3 days to play games 1-2, 4 days to play games 3-5, and 2 days to play games 6-7. Its been done this way for at least a couple years. This hurts no-one and helps those that may have an occasional schedule difficulty.

I for one have to go out of town for a week at the beginning of December and I'm glad we have the extra day because I may only get to be on the internet once or twice that week.
