I had a e-mail discussion with Mike earlier this year on this topic. His response (not his exact words) was "it (forfeiting) can't be done, we ar not set up to re-play a game until the home team loses". The only things that can be done is to either re-authorize the home team to replay the game or to let the computer replay the game (and the rest of the series) after the deadline.

Regardless of what the manual says, forfeits don't exist!
