I'm not sure PB value was designed or ever intended to be used as a barometer in trades. PB value might be a suitable metric to evaluate a large group of players (like a team) but I think it is highly unreliable to judge whether Lilly & Kennedy are worth Ramirez. I think we would be misguided to place to much emphasis on PB value in drafting or trading.
