Players on the 25 man roster whether they play or not will not get the day of rest for the playoffs if there is a playoff game to get into the playoffs. If you lose the game then whatever the status page says is moot. Players on the farm are treated differently during the each playoff series and I don't know why. They keep getting rusty and more rusty. That's a potentila problem but has nothing to do with players on active roster.
