I am becoming increasingly convinced defensive ratings in this SIM mean squat. In an earlier discussion, I made mention of watching Brian Jordan play sterling defense at third base all series long and without ever being replaced defensively.

This week's travesty in defense is watching Vinny Castilla play 2B as well as Jordan played third...

Hmm.... Maybe I should just get as many bats in the lineup as possible, and defense be damned???
