I believe it is fielding percentage. A number greater than 7 generally means the guy is a kick ass fielder, below 3 & he should be DHing (or playing for the Yankees). For guys rated at multiple positions you can use FPCT to see where the probably are better suited. I've never actually followed if FPCT is closely aligned with errors or not
