On my T-2 team, with Stocker on the DL and my backup SS, Cabrera, over his pace on usage...I used utility player Andy Fox at SS. He is unrated there, and not spectacular at any of the 6 defensive positions where he is rated. In 4 games/ 31 innings, he has made only 2 errors, turned 2 DP, 10 assists, 3 PO, 87% FPCT, and a range of just over 3.7
Not bad for a player not rated at SS. Before the injury, Stocker was only hitting .133. Fox is at .337 after 101 AB. As long as there isn't too huge of a penalty for doing this, I think I'll use the best bats in my lineup, regardless of position.
