PB range is calculated by using ZONE=50% and chances per inning modified by GB/FB rating of pitching staff and strike out ratio of pitching staff=50%

Without looking carefully at the Rockies pitching staff ( the staff does not get a lot of Ks even disregarding the Coors factor) I know that Coors Field reduces strikeouts significantly and therefore increases chances per inning for all fielders. This and the fact that Clayton's ZONE rating was significantly reduced in 2004 would explain his poor range rating.
