OK deal Launch Leagues
Since their schedules do not coincide and since automating the draft and playoffs is a difficult and mine-infested project, $5 a team would not even begin to justify the time and energy required to put them on.
Increasing them to 80 games would be fine but the biggest problem with LL is that they often discourage new managers more than encourage them to join.
Two reasons: The experienced PB managers beat the tar out of them with platoon players and other strategical ploys (all legal) and because statistical anolamities are compounded with the short schedule and often biased one given the small sample and the small amount of opponents.
When we have talked about LL we have thought about first segregating experienced and new managers and secondly to price them at about $15. Even at that level some automation would have to be done to justify the cost in human resources to put them on.

I hear you Mike B, makes sense to me. Now that I think about it....15 bucks is a good deal that LL run for a few month. I did like the one managers input about making them 80 games. could even run two types say 50 game LL at 15$ for beginners and 80 game at 19$ for experienced managers. but PB does offer "DEMO GAME" for new managers to learn the game. Would love to see LL come back again, especially to keep managers interest during the off season. Launch leagues could also be used to reward big supporters of PB. say those who own 5 or more teams get a littel financial break when picking up a LL team. Not that they would have much time left to play them LOL.
