I think it is much more interesting the way it is....protect 27, relase after that point. I work hard to select my teams players and the fruit of that effort is protection to 27. I don't see as much of a challenge if your only protecting 15-20 players.

I am not interested in seeing the FA draft order set up as the Rookie Draft order is. Keep the FA draft picks a random selection process. A poor team is already rewarded with high rookie picks throughout the draft.
