Ratings adjustment
Remember that whether 6.0 or 5.9, this is not really a rating, only an indicator. The game manual makes clear that the actual ratings are the stats, and not these numbers which are assigned as a guide only. Hence, they represent a comparison with all others, reassigned each time stats are run. Also, I believe that the clutch "rating" is assigned for ALL men-on-base situations not just scoring position. Remember also that he might have faced more lefties in those situations, which means yet another set of factors. In short, use the stats as much or more than the ratings in your pitching decisions.
