With the first round done I've made a good start on my annual spreadsheet. I record the draft slot of every player taken in round one. It takes until the end because many first rounders are also third rounders so I need to see the last day to complete things.

The top picks were:

Wright - 2.222 average slot
Greinke - 2.481
Mauer - 2.593

There were 49 players taken in round one, which is a new record, I believe. More later.
