Relievers who start
Relievers who start need to have 10 BFA or be fully rested (if their MAX is below 10) in order to start READY. The ROBOT will never start an non-READY pitcher as many of you have sadly found.
A TIRED pitcher, as Mulholland surely was, is suseptible to injury and will not pitch as effectivley as he normally does---but that does not mean he will be BOMBED automatically because the game has reduced his effectiveness---if that were the case your bottom of the rotation starters would never have a great game and your ACE would never get bombed---this is a SIM---something we often forget when we are on the other end of some bad SIM-luck.
Using a TIRED pitcher is something which is the prerogative of the HOME manager. It is often done in real life---usaully in a tight pennant race---anyone remember Gene Mauch going to a two man rotation in 1964?---or in the playoffs---but it carries with it RISKS---just as it does in real life.
