I think your suspicions are probably correct and that somehow, even though we all thought the adjustments to player PB values had taken place, they only took place yesterday or today. But it creates a real hardship in that a number of managers made last minute trades and crafted their rookie draft strategy in order to be compliant with the PB cap limit. Using a couple of my teams as an example, I am now faced with cutting at least two players on each team who I was going to be able to keep before yesterday's adjustment. The annoying thing is that one of those players on each team is someone I acquired the night before the rookie draft for high free agent picks. So now I will be without the players and without the picks.

This has never happened before and it is really a pretty big mistake. Whether there will be any accomodation coming from Mike and John, I don't know.
