Your are talking about an isolated instance. Anything can happen at anytime with this game, ANYTHING! Including what happened with Mulholland against your team. However, if you look at a larger sample size....say 100 games started by pitchers who were "tired", then you would see that more often than not, probably alot more often than not, those pitchers will get rocked as you expected. I think you have a case if you see this happen again and again, but one time, no.
