One way to get familiar with the stats is to look at pitchers you know. Go to the SEARCH feature on your league page * put in a pitchers name. Investigate his stats. For example if you har a Phillies fan & you know Brett Myers struggled last year pull him up. You will see his OPS. Compare him to Randy Johnson. If you are aa Astros fan look at Oswalt & you will get a feeling on the OPS. Also pay attention to OBPCT & Slugging PCT.
