Pitching Grades?
What is the point of pitching grades if they are just being used as a guide. If the actual pitchiers results are determined by ROPS and LOPS, then lets make the ratings reflect that number. A .690 ROPS .756 LOPS would be a
RH 6.9/LH 7.5 rating. The lower the rating for a pitcher, the better. Out of curiousity, I tracked a few pitchers last season on their clutch rating. I did not see that to be an effective guide either. Maybe some of you had different results with it.
