I have not seen a pitcher with a higher "clutch" grade perform as expected. He always seems to give up baserunners, and then proceed to give up the big hit, often a HR, and tend to have too high of ERA's in PB replays. On the other hand, the guys with higher basic grades, give up less baserunners, and their lower "clutch" ratings don't seem to hurt them. So, I basically don't worry too much about the grades...don't know what they mean. I just look at the raw stats and "takes my chances."
