Nice plan, and I'll try to do the same in the league where I have him. But the reality is that half of those 40 starts are road games and its hard to make sure that the ROBOT will leave him in for 7 IP. So he'll end up getting something like 260 IP (or so).
Which is why I have always believed that a 225 IP (MLB innings) starter is just as good as a 260+ IP starter (MLB innings) assuming the same stats. Because (225*115% = 259) is about the most you can get from any starter.
So the 115% rule doesn't really help the guys with 230+ innings... It really helps EVERYONE ELSE
