Should have to drop a player

Posted By Kevin

I've always viewed this rule as a little bit ridiculous. By the last few rounds of the FA draft, I've generally have very little problem trying to get the player I need. So if I have a need at a position, I fill it.

Now, if someone has a stud catcher (e.g. I-Rod and his 575 PA), why should they be allowed to intentionally not draft a second catcher and then go begging for an INN backup? They basically get a free draft choice out of it, which isn't fair.

If someone needs an INN player, fine. I have no problem with that. But they should have to drop someone from their roster to get him.
