I think that all current owners of A-Rod want to leave things as is, so they can continue using him at SS, even though this is not how he is currently used.

Everyone that does not own A-Rod on a team would like to see his stats adjusted when he plays SS. These owners are also hoping that A-Rod does not get 2 innings at SS this season.

Again, just my opinion. By the way, I am not an A-Rod owner.
