RP who started
Apparently you didn't read the comments made close enough.
The relief pitchers who started games in all instances where pitchers who ACTUALLY did start some games in the 98 season.
I would never start a reliever who had not, I don't know that you can anyway.
But starting Worrell, Florie, or Escobar is 100% legit and depending on the situation, can be a VERY good strategy.
If you do have good relief pitchers with a ton of innings, you won't get their full usage anyway unless you start them every once in a while (just like they were used in the corresponding season).
The 2 guys that I used this week, Florie and Worrell, both have over 100 innings. I had drafted them with the intent of spot starting them from time to time.
I still don't understand why the relievers are given such a huge boost in BFA when starting a game.
I know they are supposed to be given 175% of their normal amount, but Worrell started with 50 BFA for me.
His normal max is 20 BFA. Simple math shows us that 20 (BFA) x 175% = 35 BFA. I have yet to have that explained.
As for the "glitch" of not making a huge deduction on their BFA for the following game, that is being corrected as we speak.
