I did not take more than a few minutes to find the boxscore. Bringing in Gagne on opening day down 16 runs and letting him pitch four innings is inexcusable. It's not like Gagne was rusty and needed an inning of work. As of the third game of the season Gagne's usage is 1400! That is correct, he has pitched 14 times as muach as he should have -- all to eat some innings in a blowout. I am curious how the away manager set his relief roles.
