Think a Minute:
Why anyone would have a problem with using the rules to their advantage is beyond me. PB lets you use players out of position, with some penalties, because managers have that right. Same for starting a reliever. This is Mike's intent, and he works hard to make it as realistic as possible. Indeed once streak stats are online (SOON I HOPE) you will NOT know exactly what your team's capabilities are. However, when a true glitch occurs, like the BFA problem, I for one would not take advantage of it. Sure I know the differences in PB, APBA, etc., and take them into consideration. BUT I take great pains to play the game aggressively but still ethically. I would want a league where we can become cyber-friends, long time trading partners, and would want to be respected for my baseball knowledge, not for my ability as a weasel. I say take advantage of the game quirks which are not errors, but please don't cross that fine line of respect for fellow managers. I would hope that the individual leagues would deal with such acts by ignoring, ridiculing, and refusing to trade with those who abuse the game. Just my opininon....Eddie
