I guess my shock about the Erickson for Phelps deal was this:

The guy said he was dropping Phelps to get pitching and offered to trade Phelps for any INN pitcher. I'm surprised noone offered him anything better than Erickson. Is it possible that Phelps is close enough to a nothing that noone in that league (except for me) wanted him?
