Since you said you were home team, if he has 31 or more BFA, pitch him to one batter in game 1 and he'll still have 30 for game 2 but not be rusty.

Otherwise use him in game 1 or game 3 or 4 or 5 after pitching to one batter two games earlier.

Or pitch him rusty. Sometimes rusty pitchers do great.
