Paul Reiss
Just a quick note. Paul Reiss passed away last week from complications from pnuemonia. He had many friends in this league as I believe he had been with Pure Baseball from its infancy. Pure Baseball was a very impotant part of his life and it brought him great joy. Without fail, I would receive a call from Paul the day he got his BA top 100 issue so we could talk about some if not all of the future of MLB. Shortly after I would get an offer of ARod and KRod for Chone Figgans and Chase Utley. He always wanted to have the best young talent and he loved to make trades. I think that he really lke the interaction with everyone more than the actual trading-or at least that is how i justified some of the offers i would get from him. Paul convinced me to join PB and we developed a great friendship over the years. I know we wouldn't have become as close as we did without PB as a common ground. He is having a memorial service soon in NYC. For Paul I thank you all for making his life a little brighter.
