As another original owner I'd like to say thanks for the kind words and thanks for the hard work of the CSN and PB staffs. They put in a lot of time to give us a fun hobby. There is always room for improvement and I have enjoyed following the debates here on baseball stategy vs. purebaseball strategy. I own the Oxford Owls/Jackson Prospectors franchise in the Speaker 3 league. I remember drafting Joey (Albert) Belle on the advice of a co-worker when I didn't know who he was. Its a joy to just use his stats and not have to manage him!! Last season I wrote a brief history of my franchise for myself and I have the seasonal stats for each year. If PB ever gives us an off-season I'll complile some team records. I will also post the team history when I find the disk it is on. The franchise won its 800th regular season game this season and I'm now working hard not to lose my 700th regular season game.
So, to all of you newcomers and oldtimers alike, playball, have fun and keep the debates going and push the game to its limits. It only gets better.
