It makes much more competitive sense to stay with 24 teams per league rather than 20. A much more in-depth knowledge of players is needed to staff your teams in 24 team leagues. I play in several leagues, some with 24 teams, some with 20 teams and, by far, the 24 team leagues are more interesting.
