It's not that anyone is completely right or wrong.

For me, I love winning. And I hate losing. Whether its baseball or my business.) Part of being succcessful is figuring out how to get the most out of the system. I play PB becasue it is a fascinating statistical game, with subtlerties and tricks and nuances that make every game a new experience. It's not because I "love" baseball (although I do enjoy watching as a form of relaxation).

My point is, that for me, finding out about what the system does and then pushing it to the limit is why I do it. Not so for Cameron, who sounds like he's more of a baseball purist. I have no quarrel with that, but he shouldn't assume or require the rest of us to have the same motivations.

Maybe it's the difference between a Bart Giamatti and a Bud Selig as baseball Commissioner -- The game has had to live with both of them.

In truth, it's what makes both real life and the pseudo-life of the Web so interesting.

Gotta go now... There's a Championship I need to win...
