Someone mentioned this below, thought I'd expand on it. You can send a comment to an owner when you propose a trade by putting the comment in the trade name.

Just name the trade with a comment such as:

"Reliever you need"

or

"Should help your rebuilding"

or

"I'm trying to fleece you"


While not perfect, at least it gives the other owner a general idea on what you are doing.
