Next Season and PB Values!
If you have looked at your team and checked out its PB value for 2005, don't get too excited yet.
It seems (maybe because Bonds isn't playing) that PB values are up overall and pitching in particular. The cap this year in 20 team leagues will probably be over 100.
Here are two examples picked at random - league or division not given:
League 1
Team A - 69.040
Team B - 124.821
Team C - 126.236
Team D - 83.614
Team E - 75.202
B and C look like runaway winners but after cuts and drafts and team makeup Team D may take it all.
League 2
Team A - 107.024
Team B - 90.696
Team C - 99.073
Team D - 112.167
Team E - 88.198
After drafts and cuts and seeing if you have 4 or 5 starters, you could win this division with any of these teams.
These number will probably drop some before the 2005 season is over and PB will make park adjustments to again change the numbers but it is a different looking year ahead.
