The Robot Manager is not even close to being as good as a human manager (provided of course the human manager is paying attention to his team). I have four teams that I have managed from the start of the season. (I picked up a fifth team about two months ago and did not count that data since that team was managed by the robot both home and away for a good part of the season.) My combined home record for my four teams is 134-101. My combined road record for my four teams is 95-130. If these were standings my away team would be 29 games behind my home team. We are at the 115 game mark. Projected over a full season my away team would trail my home team by 40 games (29 x 160) / 115 = 40. Yes this data includes four teams. On average over the course of a season then we can estimate that I am better than the robot manager by 10 games! I didn't look at data for past seasons but my impression is that I always do much better at home then on the road. I am curious to read what others have to say.
