I think most of us have felt the same frustration you have indicated in your posting. My own experience supports your position to some degree. I've found that part of the problem is the League itself. There are some Leagues that are very active in trading, and some that do very little even when you have active managers. It has alot to do with the Managers. You mentioned that you are an active trader and enjoy the building and re-building of your teams. Some guys do the same thing with a great deal of patience through the drafts and not so much by trading. You may want to take a look at some of the PB Leagues, reviewing teams and managers trading history in the League and maybe taking over a team in a more trading active League. From my experience, because I like to trade, the teams I've taken over are in Leagues that I looked at to see if there are active trade activities and managers I know who like to trade. I'd love to have you join any of the Leagues I'm in which are R1,G4,C2,C16, and K17. All of these Leagues have at least 1 managerless team so if you want to build a team by trading, there are many of us who would like to see you pick up a team in any of the above Leagues. Don't get me wrong, you will still not get responses from some of your trade offers but I assure you there are some very active trading teams and managers in the Leagues I've mentioned. The other thing you need to be sure to do, is send an email with every trade offer. Some of us are not getting the trade offer emails generated by Pure Baseball. The only way we know if someone has made a Trade offer is if we check our individual Teams Trade Page in "Front Office" or we get a separate email from the team manager offering the trade.
