I think changing the "rules" mid stream is a problem - I made a deal in one league where I'm in contention (but only 2 games above .500) where I traded some nice side support players for the future - I only pulled the trigger this week because of the deadline - 10 games from now I may wish I had them back, but that's what makes it a game with choices. If I knew I had 10 more days to make that decision, I wouldn't have done it this week. Now my competition gets that time to decide what they need to do? I'm not happy with that...

Many teams are in this position of on the cusp of in or out of the hunt - and having to make that choice with 40 games left is a challenge - waiting until 30 games left, and at the time rosters expand, is too easy.

Mike, you have to stop worrying about the leagues getting out of balance due to active managers. We are the ones supporting the game - not managers who may come along or may not.
