I'm OK with extending the deadline IF Mike feels he needs it to either help him out or to address the unmanaged teams. I am very sympathetic to all he must go through to be the Commish.

But other than that, I'd prefer to leave it. I've made several trades recently knowing that the deadline was looming. To me, this is similar to a real GM having to deal with the pressure of pulling the trigger just before MLB's July 31 trading deadline. It's part of the "GM experience" that I, and I'm guessing a few others, enjoy about PB.
