The key was two big improvements by players I didn't know would actually happen. Jones jumped from 29 HR's to 50+ this year. Pedro dropped his ERA and OPS dramatically from last year after most people thought he might be injured. Arod has also improved his ROPS by over .200 points.

I also traded for Floyd(.900 OPS vs righties next year) and in the FA draft I picked up Wise(top closer for next year) and Dellucci(.900 OPS vs righties). Dellucci allowed me to pick up Shields for this and next year by trading Nixon.

So I need to find an ave 2B next year, which will give me a better offense next year than this year. Pedro combines with 3 average starters and a very deep bullpen to give me 95+ wins next year. Our division is actually a bit down next year compared to this year.

Then again all of my players will be one year older next year with few youngsters in sight, thus next year may be the last year. And you could still break my streak this year. : )
