To be more specific than my previous post, Mike has decided after the "old deadline" all active GM's worked their trades around but "during the newly shifted deadline" to make Bonds available in G4.

Now, Bonds plays for a contending manager-less team that will win 30 games next year but all of a sudden, the powers that be deem Bonds available.

I strongly oppose a Bonds deal now. All year long, I and other active GM's geared their roster around a known trade deadline, attempted on numerous occasions to make manager-less trades and competed with other active GM's using their precious draft picks as carefully as possible...

now with less to deal (and most really active GM's by nature have less to deal now) Bonds may get awarded to a contender???

That would be wrong and this rule-changing on the fly puts a bad taste in my mouth regarding the enjoyment of this game.
