If any single player in your starting lineup was injured or not on the 25 man roster, etc. the robot resets the lineup.

You see this more at the end of the season as more day to day injuries start occuring due to overuse. Its very easy to overlook.

A result of this is when you are playing a home game, you see your opponents listed starter, set your lineup, go to play and your opponent has a different pitcher. This occured because the starter that was submitted was tired/injured, etc.
