Not sure what you mean by 'the stats screwed up'.

When you leave a pitcher with as 13 ERA in for an entire game, you are going to get hammered. This is not stat based, but a GM based issue. In real baseball, if only 1 pitcher was available, someone would come up from the farm to help out.
